For PowerMatch amplifiers with firmware version 2.x, when trying to update firmware in ControlSpace Designer 5.12-5.14, the update can fail.

If a PowerMatch amplifier already has version 3.x installed, this should not be a problem.

 

Note: New PowerMatch amplifiers contain firmware version 2.11. 

 

Workaround:

If updating from version 2.x to version 4.x, the workaround is as follows:

  • First, update the FW using the firmware file of "v3.920" which is contained in CSD 5.11.

  • Second, update the FW using the firmware file of "v4.012" which is contained in CSD 5.14.

 

A fix is being implemented in the next available version of ControlSpace Designer (5.14.1)
