This Article describes how to use the GP/I from a Videobar VB1 for Audio Mute/Unmute.

Procedure

At the back side of the VB1 you can find the GP/I (Contact Input) marked in yellow.

You can use a Normally Open Contact (NO) or a Normally Closed Contact (NC)
for the Audio Mute.

In the Videobar Configuration software in the tab labeled "Configuration / System" you can find the settings for the Contact Input:

CRTL Active in setting Low is for the usage from a Normally Open Contact
Open is Status Unmute
Close is Status Mute

CTRL Active in setting High is for the usage from a Normally Closed Contact:
Closed is Status Unmute
Open is Status Mute
