Resolution
1. Expansion cable (RJ-50) and Ethernet cable connection
Make sure that the modules that make up the stack are properly connected with the included RJ-50 expansion cable. Please note that this connection is similar to the RJ-45 connector used for control and Dante (Ethernet), but it is not the same.
Also, make sure that the Ethernet cable that connects to the control and Dante network switch is connected to the RJ-45 terminal at the top or at the bottom of the stack (see image below). If you connect the Ethernet cable to the wrong module, the stack will not be able to communicate properly.
2. IP address of MSA12X and PC (Control Space Designer)
The factory IP address of MSA12X is automatically assigned (DHCP). When connecting to the MSA12X for the first time, set the IP address of your PC to DHCP ("Obtain an IP address automatically").
See the Panaray MSA12X Design Guide p.47 for information on how to set the IP address for the MSA12X.
