Procedure

ControlCenter CC-1 controllers have RJ-45 connectors (T568B). The ControlCenter CC-1 connects to the PWR and VOL terminals on the back of the amplifier with bare wire.

  1. Connect the RJ-45 end of the Ethernet cable to Main on the back of the controller.
  2. On the back of the amplifier, connect the White/Orange wire to PWR. Connect the White/Green wire to VOL.
  3. On the controller, set DIP switches 3 and 5 to the ON position.  All other DIP switches should be down.

Important: When a volume controller is connected, the amplifier also expects that the controller has an A/B switch for source selection. Because the CC-1 does not have an A/B switch, the amplifier will default to Input B.  This means that the input source for the amplifier should be connected to Input B.
