Resolution

Migrating an old ControlSpace design file to new hardware (like new cards in an ESP88) can present a "contains old node mapping" message. The following steps will resolve this issue:

  1. Save a backup of the ControlSpace design file
  2. Create a new design
  3. Run the Scan option from the Tools menu in ControlSpace Designer
  4. Use the Go Online option and send the blank design to the device
  5. Go offline
  6. Open the saved design and send to device again

If there are still issues check the cards in the design match the scanned hardware and correct as necessary in the design.
