This article describes how to connect a PC to legacy ControlSpace hardware without a network switch.

ESP88, ESP88c, ESP00, ESP00II and the CC-64 do not have Auto-MDIX on the network interface and require a crossover network cable when directly connecting a computer without a network switch.

 

Networked PowerMatch amplifiers and Fixed IO ESP and EX processors have Auto-MDIX on the network interface and do not require a crossover cable.
