This article describes configuring the Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 UC to work with Google Voice within the Bose Music App, and how to access the features of the Voice Assistant.

Procedure

To complete this process the mobile device must be connected to a Wi-Fi or cellular data network. Voice assistant is set-up within the Bose Music app.

  1. Within the Bose Music app select the settings menu.
  2. In the settings menu, scroll down to the Voice Assistant menu item:
  3. From here, Google Assistant can be selected as the default Voice Assistant option:

  4. Additionally, Google Assistant will need to be set-up in the personal Google.com account
  5. Do this by pressing the Setup and Settings button

Using the Google Assistant

The Voice Assistant button is used to control Google Assistant. The Voice Assistant button is the bottom button on the right earcup.

Press and hold the Voice Assistant button until you hear a tone. After you hear a tone, say your request. For examples of questions and things you can do, visit:

NOTE: At this time, you cannot use your voice to access Google Assistant. New features are added periodically.
