This article describes the process of enabling or disabling the low power mode of the Videobar VB1 and the Videobar VB-S. Three methods are described including the use of the Bose Work Configuration software, Bose Work Management software, and a standard web browser.

Procedure
Using Videobar Configuration Software
The following steps detail enabling / disabling Low Power Mode using the Videobar Configuration software.
- Ensure that the Videobar is connected to your Windows PC or Mac using a USB cable.
- Launch the Videobar Configuration Software.
- Click the Administration icon located in the lower left corner of the window.
- Type the admin password in the Password field (default password is Bose123!), then press Enter or click Sign In.
- Click the Configuration icon along the left sidebar, then the System tab along the top bar.
- Adjust the Low Power Mode slider button to the desired state.
- Changes will take effect after the Videobar is power cycled.
Using Videobar Administration Software
The following steps detail enabling / disabling Low Power Mode using the Videobar Administration software.
- Ensure that the Videobar is connected to a wired or wireless network to which a Windows PC with an instance of Videobar Administration is also connected.
- Launch the Videobar Administration Software.
- Locate the relevant Videobar in the device list and click the checkbox to the left of the device name.
- Scroll down to the Low Power Mode setting and click the checkbox to enable or disable low power mode.
- Changes will take effect after the Videobar is power cycled.
Using a Web Browser
The following steps detail enabling / disabling Low Power Mode using a web browser.
- Ensure that the Videobar is connected to a wired or wireless network to which your computer is also connected.
- Type the IP address of the VB1 or VB-S into the address bar of a web browser on your computer, and press Enter. (If it is unknown, the IP address can be determined using the Videobar Configuration app via USB or using the Videobar Administration app which automatically discovers Videobars on the network.) The Videobar Configuration WebUI will open.
- On some browsers, a security warning like the one pictured below, may appear. This is normal and not a security risk. Click Advanced, and then proceed to [IP address]. (If you are ever unsure about performing an operation on your computer, in a web browser, etc., check with your IT/system administrator first.)
