Procedure
(This only applies when using a CC-64 with an ESP-88, ESP-00, or ESP-00II.) The current state of an ESP’s programming can be saved to flash using a CC-64. This will then become the boot up state if power is disconnected from the hardware. In the programming there needs to be a “dummy” block. This could be a Gain block, etc. This block has no function except to trigger the ESP to save the current state.
In CSD, drag the “dummy” block into the Custom section of the CC-64. Continue all other programming as normal and flash the file to the hardware when done.
Now, any changes made in the “current” state (while the product is in use) can be flashed to the hardware: Press and hold the CC-64’s main encoder for about 8 seconds. The screen will display the ESP name and “dummy” block name. Now, press and release the main encoder. The display should read “Store current setting as start-up?” Twist the main encoder to cycle between Yes and No.
Press the encoder on Yes to save the current state to flash.
