If you need to restore a PowerShare PS404D/PS604D to its factory default state, you can do this by pressing the small hole on the back of the amplifier (using a needle-like object such as a paper clip), which is similar to the process of initializing a router or switch.

Procedure

1. Please back up the ControlSpace Designer design file if possible before the device is initialized because the existing parameters of the amplifier will be cleared and restored to the default values.

2. Use the power switch of the amplifier to turn the unit off.

3. Wait 10 seconds for the amplifier to fully discharge.

4. Using a paper clip (or similar needle-like tool), press and hold the reset button on the back of the amplifier.

5. Continue to press the reset button while turning on the power switch of the amplifier.  The input signal LEDs will turn green in sequence.

6. Keep pressing until the input signal LEDs are lit for at least 4 seconds.

7. Release the reset button. If the reset is successful, the input signal LEDs will flash quickly to indicate.

8. If unsuccessful, please start from step 2 and try again.

Tip: The default IP address mode of PowerShare PS404D/PS604D is DHCP (if there is no DHCP server in the network, a link-local address will be obtained automatically).

           The initialization operation does not affect the built-in Dante card; the parameter settings of the Dante card and the Dante IP address will not change. Please use Dante Controller to set the Dante settings.
