Procedure

The Exclusion Zone is a function that controls the microphone beam by specifying an area that does not need to be picked up.  This minimizes unwanted sound in the input.

To access the Exclusion Zone settings, sign into the Videobar using Bose Work Configuration and open Audio > Microphones.

By default, there are two exclusion zones represented by gray areas in the lower left and lower right of the room image. You can also add another inside the left and right exclusion zones by pressing the + Exclusion Zone button. To expand or contract the scope of the exclusion zone, drag the edge of the exclusion zone to the desired angle.

To delete the central exclusion zone, click the exclusion zone to select it, then click the Delete icon.
