Procedure

The DIP switch settings for the P2600A / P21000A / P4300 models of PowerSpace amplifiers equipped with AmpLink are described for each model.

PowerSpace P2600A / P21000A

  1. Auto standby: Enabled when ON, the amplifier goes into power saving mode after 20 minutes of no signal input.
In the power saving mode, when the input signal is detected, the amplifier automatically exits standby within 1 second and starts outputting the audio signal. The default position is OFF.
  2. Mute Polarity: Switches the mute polarity between NO (normally open) and NC (normally closed). The default position is NO.
  3. Global Out: Switches the voltage for Hi-Z speakers between 70V or 100V.
In 70V Hi-Z mode and Low-Z mode, the 100V Peak limiter and 70V RMS limiter are automatically loaded.
In 100V Hi-Z mode, the 100V RMS limiter is automatically loaded.
  4. OUTPUT 1: Sets Output 1 for 70 / 100V high impedance output (HiZ) or 4-8Ω low impedance output (LowZ)
  5. OUTPUT 2: Sets Output 2 for 70 / 100V high impedance output (HiZ) or 4-8Ω low impedance output (LowZ)
  6. I-SHARE OUTPUTS: When ON, the currents of Output 1 and 2 are combined to provide the output for 2 channels.

    * To set I-SHARE OUTPUT to ON, turn off the amplifier power or set it to standby mode, switch the I-SHARE OUTPUTS DIP switch to ON, and attach the included jumper to the output terminal. Then wire the speakers to the amplifier in terminals 1+ and 1– (or 2+ and 2–).

PowerSpace P4300A

  1. Auto standby: Enabled when ON, the amplifier goes into power saving mode after 20 minutes of no signal input.
In the power saving mode, when the input signal is detected, the amplifier automatically cancels the standby within 1 second and starts outputting the audio signal.
  6. OUTPUT 3: Sets Output 3 for 70 / 100V high impedance output (HiZ) or 4-8Ω low impedance output (LowZ)
  7. OUTPUT 4: Sets Output 4 for 70 / 100V high impedance output (HiZ) or 4-8Ω low impedance output (LowZ)
  8. I-SHARE 1 & 2: When ON, the currents of Output 1 and 2 are combined to provide the output for 2 channels.
  9. I-SHARE 3 & 4: When ON, the currents of Output 3 and 4 are combined to provide the output for 2 channels.

    * To set I-SHARE to ON, turn off the power of the amplifier or set it to standby mode, switch the I-SHARE DIP switch to ON, and set the included jumpers to Output 1 and 2 or 3 and 4. Attach it to the output terminal. Speakers connected to I-SHARE 1 & 2 are output terminals 1+ and 1– (or 2+ and 2–, either only), and speakers connected to I-SHARE 3 & 4 are output terminals 3+ and 3 (Or use 4+ and 4– only).
