Configuring Push-to-Talk on a FreeSpace IZA 2120 Amplifier

Procedure

  • Make sure that the "Page Start" Dip Switch Shown below is set to PTT (Push to Talk).

  • Connect the ground and PTT terminals to an external "normally open" momentary switch (hold down to talk) or to a "normally open" latching switch (press to talk, press again to release).

  • Connect the additional +, - and ground terminals for the microphone level audio input. 
  • When engaged this input will duck or mix with the other audio inputs based on the Page Mode selected.
